Oregon is a fisherman’s paradise, with blue-ribbon water spreading from the coastal steelhead rivers all the way to the lakes and streams in the eastern desert. Complete Angler Guide to Oregon eBook John Shewey
A logical lay-out, decent maps, excellent index, good directions and a concise but informative writing style make this book a must for anglers traveling the Beaver State. Shewey breaks down Oregon into seven geographic zones, and a separate appendix lists warm water fisheries (if you're targeting bass, panfish and catfish). His notes on cold water fisheries include timings of salmon and steelhead runs as well as remarks regarding sea-run cutthroats. He's also included reports on clamming and fishing from a number of beaches, as well as a few notes about nearshore marine fisheries. Even one-acre backwoods ponds with marginal fisheries are included in this comprehensive, well-edited book. While avid anglers will always crave more--and more detailed--information, at 420 pages this book provides enough detail to get your foot in the door on any fishery in the state.Product details

Complete Angler Guide to Oregon eBook John Shewey Reviews
Love this book! I thought I was pretty in the "know" about oregon and fishing until I bought this book. I have learned a lot and found many new places!
Useful guide that is laid out well.
Fast Shipping. Delivered Exactly Advertised.
I am truely amazed at the ammount of coverage for high mountain lakes. I have been able to gain informaiton on lakes that won't even show up in a google search (other than the link to a page in this book). Well worth the every penny, verry well written.
Good review and helpful commentary. Used when I was traveling to Oregon and wanted to go fishing.
Great
Good. However, I wish there was more info about the fishing in the hike-in lakes, instead of just directions. I wish it was more informative.
